Andrew Norris as 'Arnie'

They say you can’t choose your family but you can choose your friends, well meet Mam, Arnie and their son Ben. Arnie dotes on Mam and Mam dotes on Ben. After Mam loses her fight against cancer Ben and Arnie are left alone…..completely.  Arnie doesn’t understand Ben and Ben doesn’t understand Arnie but they are stuck with each other. As they steer their way through the troubled waters ahead, they discover family secrets, forgotten feelings and the odd skeleton in the cupboard, but most of all their deep feeling for each other.

 ‘On the Sidelines…’ is for any parents who have ever thought that they don’t understand their children, and for any children who have ever thought that they don’t understand their parents! A funny, touching portrayal of families and the relationships within them.
